The second quarter of 2025 saw varied performance trends across the top five film and television applications on iOS in the United Kingdom. Here's a closer look at how each app fared.

Hong Kong Movie 香港電影 from Green Tomato Limited showed a slight increase in weekly downloads, peaking at 4 in the final week of June. Active users remained mostly stable, with a minor uptick from 4 to 6 over the quarter.

Vue Entertainment maintained a consistent download pattern, experiencing a high of 6.2K downloads in late May. Active users also showed a positive trend, reaching over 10K by the end of June.

Reel Cinemas experienced a decline in downloads, dropping to 37 by the end of the quarter. However, active users saw a slight increase, ending the quarter at 482.
